When someone has a criminal background and they are trying to get a job it may be necessary to get a certificate of disposition. It will be necessary to get a certificate of disposition for each separate crime committed. This certificate will tell several things about a case including; what the current status of a criminal case is. what offense the person was charged with. What offense the perpetrator was convicted of if any. What date the person was convicted of this crime, and the sentence that was given out because of this crime. If the case has been sealed it will be required to get a motorized letter from defendant of the County Clerk.

To obtain a certificate of disposition a person should contact the county clerk’s office where the case was filed against that person. Things that may be required to obtain this certificate are, defendants full name, docket number, date of arrest, date of birth, picture I.D. And 10 dollars exactly, no change will be provided for the person so bring exactly what's owed. One should Contact the clerk of court to apply as soon as needed, because it may take time to obtain.
