What is Certificate of Disposition 

Certificate of deposition is known to be a criminal certificate that is given by law. This is normally done all over the world. In New York City this certificate is often asked if one is applying for a new job. Certificate of disposition is then normally in the federal offices where one is required you to perform a fingerprints test in order to check ones criminal history for the position. If one has been or is therefore convicted or found guilty for any crime for the past 10 years, then they in a position to be given the Certificate of Disposition.

 

In New York City this certificate is needed in order to show ones current status of a criminal case or its final decision. If any applicant has ever been arrested or convicted for an offence then they should take the certificate of disposition every time they get arrested. This certificate should therefore be taken from the court clerk where one is arrested. Below are some of the criminal backgrounds that are done for one to be given the certificate of disposition.

 

  • Murder

  • Sedition

  • Kidnapping and hostage taking

  • Treason

  • Rape

  • Sexual abuse

  • Armed or UN armed robbery

  • Assault with intent to murder

  • Bribery

 

If any of the above criminal charges are found in any applicant then one is supposed to obtain a Certificate of Disposition for each and every crime. This therefore makes it easier for the New York government not to employ any one with criminal background. This makes the citizens to work in a free and safe environment from criminals.
